Working Experience Media Savvy For a good while I’ve been working at a place called media savvy which is an extension of a bar called Diego‘s. During this job I was tasked with making such things as advertisements for Diego‘s. The kind of advertisement I made were ones that would show off new bathtubs that they had installed, A new gym area that they were creating below the bar and also I was tasked with editing down and creating video forms of comedy stand-up sets that were given to me. I made around 5 Comedy sets edited together to match the video with audio and along with changing camera angles to spice up and make the comedy sketches more interesting to watch visually. Also when I was working at media savvy I also learned how to set up different types of the lights in order to take pictures for selling merchandise for both Diego’s and media savvy. The merchandise I took pictures of what is stuff between pillows, T-shirts, hats, hoodies and trousers. Also during this time I lear...

Show reel

Image
The video above is a show reel from Philipp Gatterer in which he shows off his expertise in camera operating cinematography and everything he made in the year 2020. He uses some lovely upbeat Music along with showing his very impressive work and conveys that there is a show real through the use of text being in the middle of the screen which is something that I adopted for my show reel of my work.  The image above is a picture of my timeline used to create my showreel, my showreel what is created entirely in Adobe  premiere pro. Are used video clips of my previous work and put them all underneath bits of text I created using the type tool.  Above is just a short video explaining the timeline and what tools and techniques are used in creating my show reel for all of my media work in the past. Also above is the process for me editing the music and sound for my show reel. This is just a really simple edit using The exponential fade tool to make this song and more abru...

Designer Brand Logo/Design a Business Card

Image
Company Logos Here is a quick example of a lovely design. This above is a PlayStation logo design, at a first glance this logo might look like a bunch of squiggles that are quite recognisable but What it actually is is a P in front of an S that is lying down behind it which is very good for remembering that the company name is PlayStation. The colour they use is blue, Blue is commonly associated with being the worlds favourite colour is it is the colour of the sky and of water, this means that whoever sees this logo will most likely like the colour that is behind it and investigate further to find out that this is the logo for the games console PlayStation.  The images above is the first rough sketches of the idea of the line production company for films. I first began with the name Infinity studios as I believed it was quite simple and to the point of the time as time went on I change the name to exceptional studios as I believed exceptional is a way more enticing name for a compa...

My Inspirations

Edger Wright  My biggest and most moving inspirations is the writer/director edger wright. Edger Wright is a British writer and director that got his start in the industry creating with Simon Pegg a tv show called spaced which was well reserved and gained a small but dedicated fanbase which allowed him to create shortly after spaced the cult classic Shaun of the dead. That film was a huge success that allowed him to create 2 spiritual successors to Shaun of the dead which was the films hot fuzz and the worlds end which was deemed the cornetto trilogy as they all involve cornetto's in one way or another and they all star the actors Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as the leading roles in all films.  After the massive success of the cornetto trilogy edger wright began to create his first ever American film which was the incredibly thrilling and fun film Baby Driver which was a fast and energetic bank heist film from the perspective of the getaway driver. Baby Driver was a massiv...
